[dream] of cats and video games
I started out playing some sort of video game (at first I was in the video game). It involved choices to change the outcome but involved fights like in Yakuza and Kazuma (the lead from Yakuza). I realized it was a game when I found myself on the couch at home, Jei sitting on the other couch on his laptop and Mako next to me discussing storylines. Zelly was at his computer playing something.
Normal right? Well normal is much weirder for me.
We realized the sliding door and the screen were open when a mourning dove flew in and landed at my feet. We had adopted the stray in the back yard sometime before and he opened the screen door with his paw to get out. Of course the others went out too. Of course this was bad news, as Mia is afraid of outside and Jayden's a dumbass. Somehow we had my sister's cat, Bessie, who is somewhere in the upper teens in age.
So I go out the back door to look for them. It looks like our backyard at first: rusted shed, giant orange/lemon hybrid fruit tree, but the fence is much lower and looks like a plank pasture fence. On the other side of the fence was a barn (I don't think we're in suburbia anymore...) with cows and sheep grazing. The cows began mooing furiously so I hopped the fence and found Bessie. I took the old gal home.
Fast forward to being in the city, I found myself in a hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant. I asked about anyone seeing Mia or Jayden. No one had seen anything. Then I heard Jayden crying (and he cries loudly). So I burst into the back of the restaurant only to find a black market antique shop. I found Jayden in a very large jar. I took the jar with me in my arms and ran.
Running home, I found Mia on the side of the road and scooped him up too.
And then I woke up.
