[dream] superheroes and scuba gear
I'm not entirely sure how it got to this point, but I was going to move back into the dorms at my old college MBC. Funny thing was, it wasn't in Staunton, it was in this city that reappears in my dreams quite frequently. It's not the first time I've been to MBC in this weird city.
Anyway, I was working on moving into the dorms out of our current house (god knows why), so I was trying to pack up my computer. I wanted to take the desktop so I could play DCUO with my housemates (who I didn't know until after I graduated from MBC).
Fastforward and I find myself at the bank to deposit something. But it's not me, I'm Wonder Woman. I look at the people sitting (lined up in chairs like they're watching a small show), waiting for a teller. I survey the crowd, finding Kyle Rayner, Hal Jordan, Jon (GL, I don't remember his last name), and the Flash sitting among the crowd. Safe bank is safe.
So I walk up to the counter to deposit a check, but of course I can't give the teller my real name, so I offer my Themysciran ID to her. She doesn't question it and I deposit my check then I walk back only to find Superman at the door. He babbles about some aliens attacking and Superboy (I think it was Superboy) does too. With the other heroes, we put the bank into a bubble to keep it safe (because the world was flooding thanks to these aliens). No one at the bank even moves. It's like normal day-to-day business to them. Then again, there were superheroes going to a bank, so whatevs.
Now we go to combat the aliens. I don a wetsuit (because it's cold) and because I'm Wonder Woman, it's of course skin tight and very T&A. I also put on a very unrealistic scuba tank and gear to dive down into the deep and fight the aliens.
They look like giant jellyfish as they float around, glowing in what was once the city. A few of the jellyfish had wrapped their tentacles around a monorail track and dislodged it, letting it crash into the flooded buildings below.
This just can't do, so I swim down and punch one of the jellyfish's allies, the giant fish, in the face. More fish come swarming at me but that doesn't matter. I'm freaking Wonder Woman in sci-fi scuba gear! I punch them all in the face and they all fall to the ground unconscious (or dead. who cares?). So the jellyfish get angry with me so I punch them in the face too.
Sadly, that is where I wake up. But I got to punch jellyfish in the face as Wonder Woman. Epic.
