Don't miss the train

I love New York at 7:00 Am. When it's still a little cloudy and fresh. When before I catch the subway train - which is definitely going to take me to work late - I drop in a grocery to get some coffee with milk and extra sugar for just 65¢. This one I like much better than that one from DD. There's just a few people in the streets, everyone's still sleepy, however the platform is, certainly, overcrowded. When I'm on my way to work I have no options - B express train only. Then I must change to the 7th train at Times Square. My work is pretty far from my place, usually it takes me about 2 hours to get there. However, I don't include all those regular delays.

They're all so different. She's reading women's stuff, he's looking through the New York Times, that guy in the corner is listening to the music so loudly that I can even hear the beat pumping. That strange lady is murmuring something pointing at everyone. Now she's pointing at me and saying something I can't understand. Whatever. And I'm just enjoying all this noisy rubbish arround me. Nobody cares.

Nevetheless, I want to sleep. I got up at 6 and that's quite early for me. From time to time I fall asleep but then I wake up at once like I was punched and start looking through the window desparately to find out whether I've already passed the stop or not.

A train driver just shouted something via car radio but I didn't catch. When they do so you're unlikely to recognize a word unless it's a legible record of a soft female voice like tthose they have in Moscow. This time it was something about the delay because of the train ahead, I believe. I just add 5 minutes more..Hm. I hope, I won't be late.

Every morning I'm in a rush. I just take a shower, iron a shirt, throw things in a bag and I'm gone. Don't have time for breakfast even. My roommate always tells me to get things prepared beforehand. I guess, it's not gonna happen ever. I forgot about the book this time again, so I'm entertaining myself reading  all these print ads on the walls which I've already learned by heart.
