Fortunately or not, I knew about geni.com and genoom.com on the radio. These sites are supposed to help people to create their family trees. I have no idea why, but I visited them. I wanted just to kill the time but...IT has begun...Never thought that such an indifferent guy like me can be interested in such a boring occupation. But, on the contrary, it turned out to be a very exciting thing. And now I realize that my head will be stuffed with all that for long time. My new craze or something.
I've spent about 10 minutes on filling out all the forms and putting names down but then, naturally, I faced with a prospective obstacle: I knew no more names to put in my family tree. I got stuck but I didn't give up. I called my grandmothers and found out as much as possible about my distant relatives. And it was so interesting, you know. Incredibly interesting. For example, my great-great-grandmother had a very old name Pelageya that you will never meet nowadays. By the way, she died of starvation in 1926, also known as a year of hunger, and, moreover, she has gone out of her mind some time before her death. Very, very exciting, isn't it?) And...hold on...My another great-great-grandmother hadn't got an ordinary name, she got a nickname instead. No, of course, she'd been supposed to get a proper name after birth but all the same everybody was calling her 'Fish' for some unknown reasons for me. What the hell) I can't prove or disprove this, but that's what my grandmother told me.
So, at the moment, I got 85 persons at my family map and I can't wait to fill it with new names...
