~EarthThere is a dead kitten with 3 legs on my porch!!! I got most of the cleaning done and Netrage called and I settled that. But what do you do with dead animals? I would bury it tomorrow but there is no yard or dirt to even do that ( Read more... )

I thought basic had no ads where as plus had ads but gave you more stuff? Of course when you're viewing a friends post who's on plus you will see their ads. The only way to get a lot of stuff without ads is to pay.

Grr...I really want the icons...I might just go back then. There are so many adds it makes the journal look bad.

Ugh... Don't use plus. The only time that you will see adds is on other plus user's journals which is annoying. I hate seeing adds. The extra icons arn't worth it, you can only use one at a time anyway.

Much sadness about the kitten... Perhaps if there is a vet nearby you can take the kitten to it for a cremation. It can't hurt to ask.

I wouldn't want to see ads throughout my LJ experience. As much as I would like some extra features, they're not worth the irritation to me. Perhaps if you can narrow your icons down to six, you'll be fine with the basic service.
