He parked in the back this morning. Last Friday, the entire front entrance was blocked off with caution tape and orange cones. we threw out my alarm clock the other day. It buzzed all night half the time, and once a month or so, the alarm just wouldn't go off. A new trip seems to be in the planning stage. Late July, an overnight trip to Telescope Peak and back. We'll camp a couple miles down the trail and daypack to the peak and back (I'd love to camp on top, but my uncle tried it once some 30 years ago and it got dangerously windy at night - so I'd rather not even risk it. To me, the most special part of having friends come over is the satisfied silence that comes after everybody has gone home and you've turned out the lights, standing there by the switch, waiting for your eyes to adjust to the dark.
