It's illegal immigration

I saw the paper today and it showed a picture of a girl holding a sign that said, "We are not criminials" in response to the proposal before the Senate on immigration.

I am sorry to be the one to have to tell you, but people who come here and do not obey the laws about immigrating to this country are criminals. Just like people who break the laws

I agree with you that these are illegal immigrants and therefore criminals. I think a good solution would be A. agressive border security and B. Setting up immigration stations at high traffic border areas, where those who truly wished to become citizens of the US (not just make some tax free money and then go home) could be processed, checked out and maybe even given some classes on how the country works. This way, we dont turn away anyone who truly wants to be a citizen. I dont think that is what America is about and that we should take everyone who wants in and isnt a terrorist or full of shit.

I agree. But I also think that working to help fix the problems they are experiencing at home instead of exploiting them would also decrease the amount of people willing to sneak into the country.

Well, I agree with that in principle, but we arent very good at fixing other countries issues (see: Iraq)

My 6 yr old guatamalan cleans my baseboards fabulously, and only on one meal a day! Illegal immigration is functional AND economical! My God- how else do you expect said senators' wives keep their mansions in working order?
