Can someone explain to me how Azerbaijan won Eurovision over Italy, Sweden, Denmark - even fucking Ireland? I know it's petty, but I'm getting all 'SHE DOESN'T EVEN GO HERE' because I'm cross and their song was rubbish.

I should probably apologize for enabling you in such a ridiculous fashion except you keep letting me attempt to write awful awful fic so I guess we're even.

I love how Azerbaijan had the entry I only knew as "I can't tell the singers apart, if that was a conscious decision it was also a very creepy one".
