I just downloaded and watched the first 6 episodes of FLCL(which might be all of them, unfortunately). I really enjoyed it. It's recommended.

Went to this farmers market nearby and played with all the farm animals. It was like a mini zoo. Fun, thanks to it being harvest time, and them having their decorative cornstacks, I found plenty of dried corn to feed all of them. There was a baby cow that was adorable. It rather nibble on my hand than eat the food though, I think it wanted milk. ( Read more... )

My Step-dad's father died. We fly out Tuesday for the funeral. We had the tickets before he died, to try and see him before, but I think we all knew we wouldn't make it in time. Holy hell. Craziness yesterday. The movers were moving everything in, so the house was open, and there was this giant boom, and the house shook. Right in the backyard, they had a mountain of trees and brush that they cleared away and they had just set fire to it. They must've used too much propellant or something for it to explode like that.
