Summary: Edward and Al return from Germany after frightful events that make them realise it really isn't where they are meant to be after all. But when Edward finds out his heart still lies with a certain childhood friend even after four years, he will do anything to break her free from the prison she has created for herself

Yay for Ed/Winry!

I don't think that they are OC. I wouldn't expect them to still be the same after four years and anyone who does is just plain naive.

Some things that really struck me:
- The dynamic between Ed and Al in the beginning was very real and enjoyable.
- I don't like Mark. I hope Ed kicks his ass real soon.
- I really want to know why the brothers are back now and maybe learn a little more about what their life was like on the other side.

Good Job! I got this link from the Fullmetal site. Although, I don't like the idea of Winry with someone else, I've got to admit she had to go on with her life after they left. I'd like to read more. I really like your "Taken Away" story too. I know all about writer's block. I write other fanfiction and have no problem when it comes to relationship writing, but when I get to the technical parts it gets difficult for me. :)

yes I hate the idea of Winry with anyone else, that's why you have to just watch and see what happens. I have the second chapter finished... I just haven't started editing... my bad. It's really hectic for me at the moment, thats why I took a break on taken away, because this came to me one morning I saw a married couple having problems... *cough*
