I kind of think of it as the "No really, we're Christians and don't do that Pagan Stuff" Harvest Feast. Kinda like Christmas trees and Easter eggs.

Hey Phil! I'm the one who bought your Mac when you moved many years ago. I left the city shortly thereafter and am back on my "real" journal. Want to friend? If not, that's fine, but I miss seeing you.

PS I'm with a man now who's legal enough native to do peyote; oh boy does he love Thanksgiving, and yes, that was nuclear-level sarcasm. He's happiest if we just have pizza.
