Ok, well I know that after working at the GAP you will definitely be less shy! And you shouldn't be shy! You're handsome and you seem to be a great person from what I know. :)

Hey, don't be too hard on yourself. You've improved a LOT in that area since we met - maybe it's just a slow process. Stretch yourself just a little each time, and you'll be going miles before you know it.

PS: Even if it does take a little effort to get to know you, you're totally worth it!!

Have I really improved or is it just that you know me better so I've opened up to you? Oh, and I'm not really being hard on myself, just making observations on how I can be a better me . . . it's always been in my nature to strive for perfection . . . don't know why.

PS: AWWW, thanks :-D

being shy isnt full of 100% negative consequences. in a way, it can be good because you are able to observe people before you fully open up to them and know that they are worth it. also, it gives people a reason to want to get to know you better, when it isnt all out on a platter for them to nibble at. etc. etc.
it bothers me that so many things are divided into "good trait!" "bad trait!" categories. its really not that simple.

:-D Thanks for the insight, Kels! I know it's not all negative, I was just thinking about how over the years some people have given up on trying to get me to open up . . . and how I don't want that to happen with the people I'm starting to get to know right now. Although if they're worth it anyway they'll stick around.

Anyway . . . A part of me is wishing I was in San Fran with you this summer, but the other part is glad I stayed behind because of the exciting new possibilities I'm encountering over here :) Be good . . . but not too good!
