(my best friend Daniel ((tiger)) has decided
that all of my late thirties early forties
hormones for babies, have shifted to dogs...
it does not help that I am allergic to them.)

My yearning for a Dachshund, is nearly obscene.

Wow - that is high. Looks like it was an utterly beautiful day for it.

Hey there! Glad to see you're still here after all this time!

Just out of curiosity: is your username a reference to your location, or to your love of the little dogs? 'Cause we just got a Yorkie a few months ago, and we love him!

Cheers,

Richard

it's more happenstance, than anything. This old diehard is starting to flag LJ-wise, too, but I'm still reading, and pleased to see you appear on here!

it's a location thing. I like my dogs to be a bit more huggable - Yorkie's are cute and all, but I find them a bit, well, um...scrambly, if you know what I mean. The dog equivalent of a hamster. ; D

Luigi looks cute though. : ) why 'Luigi'?

We inherited him after Jenny's grandmother died. He had lived with the name for a couple of years, so we let him keep it. More often than not, though, we call him by one of a dozen nicknames: Little Bit, Weejo, Nanobear, etc.

And I've been generally anti-small dog myself, but he isn't typical, I don't think. He loves to hike, to swim, loves the beach, and is fearless, sweet, and quite clever. He's a credit to his breed. :-)

I'm on Facebook if you want to look me up there. Richard Leonard, and my user photo is the same as one of my LJ icons.

Take care....
