You could look for fake leather (pleather, whatever). Those are usually FAR less expensive, and they still look good if they're not really cheap quality. Don't ask me where you'd find those, though.

There's Wilson's Leather Outlet, but you included the whole "arm and a leg" clause. Mine were $260ish new from there, so I don't think that's...feasible?
