I helped my boss clean off his desk (amidst excessive B.S. paperwork he's being forced to do with regard to contracts already signed and constructed). I offered my mom my ear when she was frustrated with her mechanic. I called my stomach-ill friend to remind her I hoped she wasn't dying. I've set a goal to resolve a conflict with a friend before the new year. I've set a personal goal to resolve a personal issue before I turn another year. I gave my dogs old cheese-its for breakfast (with their dog food). I cleaned up my house to host a friend/colleague tonight. I'm gonna give some cookies to my neighborhood fire department tomorrow. I served sherbet with blueberries and champagne at the party on Sunday. I made sure a present went to the person that really wanted it. I gave someone job-seeking advice. I'm helping someone hunt for people to fill a job. I gave a friend kudos and tips for horse care. ... Now I feel ... even better.

I'm eating better, spending way less time online, and getting more work done.
Which includes showing that the 1918-19 flu pandemic had lifelong effects on those born around that time...
