If the Bible is the word of God, then why is it written in third-person omniscient?

If I were God, I would have written my holy doctrine in first-person omnipotent.

I started playing piano today after dinner, and then my mom came up and said that my dad had gone to sleep, implying that I should stop playing. I was really pissed off, and thought to myself, "well, what the hell does he expect? It's only like nine o'clock"-- at which point I pulled out my cell phone and found that it was eleven fifteen.

As soon as you see this, go to comcast.net and look at the asian man reading the newspaper.

I'm so tired of hearing opinions and being expected to accept other's opinions. Does anyone else understand how arbitrary it all is? I don't care if God exists, or if Sex and the City is a sexist show, or if democracy is the best form of government. Nick says that when I post on my livejournal, I'm so far gone that there's no point in commenting. So I've developed a habit of just writing poetry to relieve stress and then erasing it. You're not missing anything. It was patronizing and hypocritical. I wonder if I'll delete this entry.

Just to give you all something absurd to contemplate, here is my schedule for AP testing.

Wednesday 5/3: AP Calculus AB Exam 7:40 a.m. - 11:40 a.m.
Thursday 5/4: AP English Literature Exam 7:40 a.m. - 11:40 a.m.
Friday 5/5: AP European History Exam 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Monday 5/8: AP Physics B Exam 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

My self-esteem only sucks when I actually think about myself. If I treat myself as an object and rely on the assessments of others, it seems to be fine. Optimism has its advantages.
