I did a commemorative scroll for the G-7 Summit in Halifax in 1995, which all the leaders signed, and is on permanent display at the Waegwaltic Yacht Club in Halifax. Calligraphy, with a border of celtic knotwork across the bottom & halfway up the sides, provincial flowers for the Atlantic provinces in lower corners, border of mayflowers up sides and across the top, with maple leaves & seeds in various stages of development in top corners & centre top. And the Bluenose faint in the background, across which I put all their names and titles. Hee hee -- and I have colour my own colour copies (original 28 x 35 inches, and reduced), after it was signed!! My crowning glory of commissions. Oh, and I calligraphed names on placecards and some invitations to one of the events. Art for government -- it was a challenge.
