Unbelievable. Migraine again today -- which makes 4 migraines in 4 days. Sigh. I'm barely coherent, hence no posting. However, will say, sunny warm weather has been lovely, basking in heat and sun. Didn't help the migraine, today, but I couldn't resist the heat.

Quick and quiet note before I dive into utter blessed darkness. Nasty migraine has pounced while trying to find B&Bs online for Dublin. Had migraine yesterday - woke up with it. Horribly unfair for it to come back now!

Hee hee! Cheese fondue and much wine and some kirsch makes for a tipsy wench! And a tip for those who like cheese fondue ... strawberries are scrumptious when soaked in wine and dipped in cheese fondue!!! Hurrah for self-pampering!

Mmmmmm ... I love Saturday mornings. Large mug of my own custom latté, in a comfy rocking chair, with Brother on the stereo (bagpipes and didgeridoo - yay!). Ahhhh ... life is good.

Just got in from this week's Changeling gaming session -- I've missed the last 2 sessions. Finally starting to get into the game -- it's only taken me about 8 months! Sigh. But on the bus ride home tonight I was picturing how I'll draw my character -- the best sign that I've finally gotten into the game, and the character. It was a good session ( Read more... )

Blech, still recuperating from the Con -- I'm sure this used to be easier when I was in my 20's. Then again, I don't think I ever kept such ungodly hours when I was in my 20's! Finally vaguely recovering from incredible sleep deprivation at Norwescon ... got a blessed delicious 10 hours sleep last night, and about 8 hours Sunday night. Makes up for the total of 7 hours of sleep I got Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Sigh ( Read more... )

Wheeeee! Norwescon is just days away! And I'm left with that everpresent quandary -- HOW do I fit all these costumes into one suitcase?? Decisions, decisions.
