McKay acting like the lovably abrasive, geeky dick he is. And some undertones of Daniel/McKay... hello!

Sam/Teal'c, because there's never enough Sam/Teal'c fanfic, and I know Teal'c's heart was trying not to break when he emerged from the time dilation with intact memories.

Daniel's geekgasm over being in OMFG Atlantis. How could he not embrace paradise with all his loved ones with him? Well, as paradisical as Wraith incursions will allow...

Fantastic - one of the best DV stories I've read in awhile.

I liked that Vala didn't confront him right away about planning to leave for Atlantis and not telling her at first - I think you did it perfectly, she would have quietly questioned him, which let him see that it really hurt her.

And I definitely think Vala would have used what she remembered of the argument to avoid that scene again - yet still get to the point where they can be together.

This was wonderful. My only complaint? Not long enough! *g*

With the return of the memories brought a new joy in harassing Daniel. She could repeat old conversations and watch them differ, and she had a whole arsenal of tricks up her sleeve. Fifty years together had left a long list of things that were guaranteed to get under his skin - it had, for some reason, only increased his fondness for her while they were onboard the Odyssey, and now she could retry the same ideas under different circumstances.

Oh that is perfect.

Colonel Caldwell was less than happy when she knocked down several members of his crew while attempting to roller-skate through the halls, but such was life.

oh Vala...so much love for her.
