Trick or Treat 2014 exchange letter
Hi writer!
I'm so thrilled to be a part of this exchange this year. I'm keeping this letter low-key, but I've requested several of these fandoms for other exchanges if you want to poke around my LJ, and they're all tagged on my tumblr (/veep, /nmtd, /new-girl, /the-mindy-project) if you want to see the sorts of things I love. Each of these I requested either fic or art, so feel free to do whichever, and I've requested any character for all of them. Each of these prompts focuses on Halloween-specifc prompts, but feel free to set it whenever in the year, and ignore the holiday entirely. Seriously, this is all so low-key.
New Girl
Always hilarious (even if the third season was rough). I pretty much multi-ship, but also love gen.
Tricks: 4D throws a Halloween party. Schmidt decides to go sexy adult trick or treating. Trying on costumes. Ghost in the loft.
Treats: Jess decorates for the holiday. Jess and Cece have an annual tradition. Nick goes apple-picking.
The Mindy Project
I love Mindy/Danny so much, no matter when during the show you set it. Early season one bickering? Season two sexual tension? Season three relationship? Yes, good. I also love Mindy herself, and her best-friendship with Peter is my lifeblood. And the ensemble in general delights me.
Tricks: Mindy convinces Danny to wear a costume, which he fails at. Party! Mindy thinks she has powers.
Treats: Office filled with kids trick or treating. Ghost stories. Peter and Mindy team up to prank the office.
Nothing Much to Do
I ship Bea/Ben like burning. I also love the Love Gods and their shenanigans, or Hero and Bea's frienship/cousin-being.
Tricks: Masked party+kissing. It's too hot for costumes. Scary relationship stories.
Treats: Bea is the only one still trick or treating in a country where it's not common. Hero's Halloween traditions. Videos people uploaded to Ben's channel because his password is too easy to guess.
Veep
Man, this show has gotten better and better, right? I ship Amy/Dan, and suddenly, Sue/Kent
Tricks: pranks on Jonah. Veep (president?) gives a themed speech. The ghost of past relationships/one night stands.
Treats:Halloween-themed fundrasier. Holiday traditions. Veep+a school full of children. Only Gary wears a costume.
