On passing
Jorn Utzon, architect of the Sydney Opera House, passes away, aged 90
And because we get to see it in under a week, here are pictures of the Opera House. -

Only missing 3 NFL game picks so far. -
On knowing
... when to stop by the store for roses and Skinny Cow cookies and cream ice cream sandwiches :-)
(Nope, not in trouble. Just knew that SWMBO had a rough day with the Little Man, so a surprise was in order!) -
On morning
My son emits this cry of disdain when he is wrenched from sleep by the morning. It's a cry of annoyance that he's not ready to get up, but it passes quickly and he's a chattering bundle of energy when I get him up and changed.

On saturday
Good morrning with the boy, but it seems his nap schedule is changing from 3-6 to 1-4, which is good. I just need to remember that and feed him lunch a little earlier. -
On making it in
So i got on the exercise bike last night and made it to 8 miles in 30 mins before I conked out. I'm sure the half hour in the garage getting trash together and bulky item pickup taken care of didn't help. Showered and then hit the hay. 11/18/08 On being amazed
I am merrily beating my laptop into submission via VirtualBox and Nevada Build 101. I am reminded that I won't be happy with computers until they operate at my brain's speed and task switching mode. -
11/18/08: Ice?
I actually had to scrape ice off my windshield this morning. It's mornings like these that remote start totally rules. I remembered to turn the heat all the way up last night so that when I headed upstairs to pack my lunch and hit the remote start button, 10 mins later and voila, toasty vehicle for the commute! -
