I'm not on here much as it's blocked at my new job, but wanted to tell those of you who've been keeping good thoughts for my Dad that he passed on Sunday morning. I'm in New York now helping with the arrangements ( Read more... )

Thanks so much, Jen. Your kind words and cards over the last couple years have been SO much appreciated that I can't even tell you the extent. I think I haven't been near as good at keeping in touch, but always keep you and G in my thoughts... and look forward a ton to seeing you again soon.

Your sweet note is very appreciated, Cadsy.

Dad was in many ways remarkable, though he was in equal measure driven by demons from his past. He grew up during the Great Depression and was a WWII participant. Both events etched themselves indelibly in his psyche... both for good and for ill.
