You looked fantastic on Saturday and I am glad that you enjoyed the interaction through the suit.

I'm sorry that you have had a bad time with trust. Sometimes people can fool us. But know that there are good people out there who care about you and you can lean on those people when times are hard.

I wander around LJ sometimes, and take some time out to read journals that seem noteworthy. Usually, I hop from friend to friend to friend, and end up somewhere I haven't been. You were on that hop stop...

Preamble aside, I know exactly what you're talking about. One of the things that can be so frustrating in life is when you're aware that people in the world are poisoning the well on you. I've had more than one connection to someone hurt badly or even severed as a result.

All we can do is continue to be someone good (if that is what we are). Eventually, the slung arrows simply won't catch as easily or as often. But if someone really wants to sling them, there really isn't much we can do to stop them.

Best of luck.
