I'm glad another year of tax filing is out of the way!

Now on to debt pay down planning - one of my new years resolutions this year! :-)

Currently sitting at $11,266.06

Taking it down to 0 by 2010 in time for a move to Portland... Hmmmm. Realistic? I pray so!

My job always gives out our W2s the first week of January. LOL I beat the IRS this year! They won't be able to confirm receipt of my taxes until the 13th. Hehehe - I love being one step ahead of the government and since I have a huge amount taken out for taxes I always get a nice surprise come Feb/March :-)

Yeah, I really want to move to Portland because of the huge vegetarian/vegan community there. :-)

Portland, Maine? Or Portland, Oregon?

Is that student loan debt? If so, dang, you're really on the ball. I'm paying down 5x that amount. Hope to have it gone by 2015. Maybe sooner.

LOL - it's Portland Oregon. I want to be north, but I think Maine may be too far for my roomie who's moving to Portland as well :-)

No, my debt is from my younger years of still being stuck in the spoiled brat mentality of I want it, I'm going to buy it and make it mine... Stupid I know and now I'm paying the price for it.
I wish it were something cool like student loan debt :-)

Once my debt is paid off, I plan on going back and finishing getting all my uni creds. I may be taking French this spring... Everyone at my work expects me to take all the French calls that come in though I only took it in high school and barely speak it LOL.
