Undead update

So yeah, haven't posted for a while in this thing because (if you've been following the 'rants' on MR) things are =that= bad. I have two really, really work-intensive classes, and both of my academic classes are similarly work heavy. So essentially my schedule has been come home at 6-6:30, work until 1-4am, get up at 8am, repeat (everyday). This ( Read more... )

I just pulled my first all nighter too this year. It was over an 8 part graphic design project x__X .

I TOTALLY get the whole freaking out thing you've got going on. I'll also agree that you're learning a TON (goth chick is my current desktop background, I love it so much. I've been meaning to email you about how cool it is.)!

I can try and do some short strips for MR if you need filler. Let me know, any time!

Lol, thanks! And yeah, I could always use guest strips--if you ever have free time feel free to do one and I'll save it for Con Season or something. I'll also link DBZ Sketchbook or your devART page on the main page for helping me out =X

8 part design project? Ouch, what'd you have to do?

It was a corporate identity project for a made up company that's loosely based off of The Moth, a storytelling performance group in New York. I had to do logo, business card, letterhead, 3 different event calendars and two posters for the fall and winter season mailers. I also decided I wanted to silk screen T-shirts and stuff with the logo. Luckily, it also counted as a silk screen project.

Sadly, the DBZ Sketchbook has been disbanded T__T It was about time though. When I open up my portfolio site to the public I'll let you know the URL!

Jen! I will be coming over tomorrow straight from work if that is okay. What would you like me to bring? Also, I cannot find the piece of paper with CTA directions to your place. I vaguely remember switching to the pink line until 28th (18th) and Central?

Yes, come straight from work! My cell is still 708 296 2179, and brion's is 630 441 6233 and our house is 773 542 0504 (though we're WAY more likely to answer our cells). Bring any fun horror movies you wanna contribute, and snackage that you'd like to share. Also, costumes are strongly, strongly recommended (as I will be dressed like Carrie x.x ).

As for the CTA, the easiest thing would be to take the blue line downtown(towards the loop) to Clark and Lake where you just go upstairs to transfer to the pink line(free transfer! =D ). Since the pink line goes in only one direction you don't have to worry about the side you're standing on, so just ride it all the way to Central Park. When the train gets to 18th, stay on the train but call brion to tell him you're nearly at the apartment (as then you're like, 7 stops away or so), so that way he'll be there when you arrive =) So yes, once again, you're getting off the pink line at central park. Call me if you get lost/confused =)
