Tonight is my last night at the house that has been my home for years. I am finding myself desperately sad about this.

Tonight will be a night of many goodbyes, and tomorrow will be a day of actually moving my active life to north Austin.

Okays, all! I have a U-Haul and professional movers on Saturday, October 30th. I'll be getting the truck at 11am and the movers will arrive at 1pm. I've posted a lot of stuff, mostly furniture, on Craigslist for the last few days.  Here they are, and let me know if you want any of them.  Prices are quite negotiable:

• Wood and glass curio shelf
• Square solid wood chest/cabinet
• Twin bed, solid wood frame
• 40 lbs saltware aquarium sand
• 90 lbs saltwater aquarium rock

 As part of prepping the house for moving, I have to leach out all of the personality.  Very annoying.  But this also means that my formal dining room needs to be set up actually as a formal dining room.  I have no such furniture and do not wish to purchase such furniture because it probably will not fit where Guen and I are going ( Read more... )
