This thing you do is dangerous, more so than what you are already teaching him. You know this.

It is not the most dangerous thing you have ever done.

Have you been practising besides our lessons?

A little on Crabbe and Goyle, but I've been trying to work on doing it wordlessly before trying on anyone else. At least with the two idiots, they don't know what happened, and I have enough on them that they won't tell anyone about it.

You did mean the Legilimency, didn't you?

I'm surprised the spell even works on them, considering that one generally needs to have something in one's head for it to truly work.

And yes, I did mean Legilimency. What else would I have meant?

It's pathetic, but they actually have memories they've been hiding. I can't very well practise on anyone else without them getting suspicious, Sir.

Good, because considering recent events... Just checking.

Don't tell me -- I don't want to know what they think is worth hiding.

Hmm.

Perhaps I can arrange something on your next Hogsmeade weekend. Surely there's nothing there that you won't mind missing in favour of this?
