I saw that ad, and I've seen several ads promoting the start of the show's run on ABC Family. It's the smart thing to do for them...not that they wouldn't do it anyway. But clearly they know they have a broadcast network quality show with fans that are still shocked it didn't survive the merger. I'd be promoting it like crazy if I was them as well. I'd bet it'll fetch some of the highest advertising rates for the network this fall.

Berlanti always said that if there was anyone to be angry with it was The WB Television Network for failing to support Everwood with the proper amount of advertising and promotional publicity after the first season. Now we're going to see what it's like when a network gets it right.

I'm so glad that this has sparked some enthusiasm into us Everwoodians again! If anyone would like a larger jpg version of the poster that I linked above in the original post, just let me know. I'd love to see some icons made from that ABC Family ad. I also love how they put on the ad, "Now Only On ABC Family"! It made me feel like they were poking a little at the new CW. (Well, at least in my little demented head they were.) :)
