i think i may have read your entry as soon as you posted it.

anyway... i suspect william powell is most famous for being the cheeky, reluctant detective in the thin man series. they made, like, six of these movies, kind of a buttload. he's basically fucking awesome.

i keep yearning for arthurfest, but i don't think i could handle a day long festival. these days, i'm a little geriatric. please give me a full report, though.

what i think you could manage to do is just go for the nighttime stuff?

i'm not a yoko ono fan, for example. but the stuff she's planning, though high concept and possibly embarrassing, has an outside chance of being historical...

some of the daytime stuff is a little too metally for me anyway. one band claims its goal is to "liquify [my] bowels." as enticing as that sounds--mass public diarrhea--i think i may take a pass and, i don't know, go for a walk or something.
