in other news, i had to take my 3rd earring out of my ear... by 3rd earring i mean the earring in my 3rd piercing, yup. oh yes, because there is a big lump behind my ear which is most probably due to not taking the earring out sooner. it started hurting, and i did nothing about it until yesterday when i put some dettol on it and then left it again ( Read more... )

Have you recently had it pierced? I don't know what you can do for it now, but if it ends up closing up & you have to get it redone, use Claire's accessories ear care stuff on it twice a day. The first & second times I got my ears done I didn't care for them as well as I do now on my third attempt as the places I got them done at didn't give you any solution to keep them clean. This time, the Claire's stuff is great & my ears aren't sore/infected like they were the other times.

i had them pierced in july but occasionally have trouble with ear piercings, they always have to be gold cos i may be allergic to silver or something. ill have to see about the claires accessories stuff. how much does that stuff cost?

I dunno, I got mine with the peircing. I have to buy some new stuff, maybe tomorrow, so I can tell you then? It wont be much though, Claire's is cheap!

Eek. The lump is probably dirt (not trying to make you sound disgusting, lol). I used to get that when i wore earrings alot. Just give them a good clean with some savlon anti-septic wash and put it back in.

well when i felt it today it seemed to be nastier but ive just put some dettol shit on it and its feeling a little better, but im not putting the earring in again yet in case i hurt my ear hehe
