But I'm not sure Dumbledore died, since he was talking with Malfoy about the whole dying but not thing just before he died. He can't die. :( And obviously Ginny and Harry will continue to date later, it's like Tonks and Lupin.
I think I am totally in denial about Dumbledore. Perhaps there is some loophole or something like that but gosh, I just wasn't expecting it at all. Of course his health was failing and everything but wahhh. :(
I loved Harry and Ginny together, I didn't think Harry and Hermione would "go out" because they have too much of a "brother-sister" relationship, to me at least. I suppose at the end of book 7 is when they will continue again, once everything is over.
And I am very happy about Tonks and Lupin, although I wish there could've been some hint or something leading up to it. Oh well, it's still great.
And I was reading it and was like, "oh I bet the half-blood prince is Voldemort." It seemed to fit(50 years old, titles, skill in dark magic), but I liked that it was Snape's. Yeah, Dumbledore can't die, it isn't fair. Ron and Hermione are good together, like we coudln't have seen it coming, she whacked us over the head with it the whole book. Yeah, the Tonk/Lupin thing was good, as was Fleur/Bill, and actually my first thought after the attack was like, "oh, Fleur won't want him now." but her response was so good. "this shows he is brave and strong, now move"
I kinda thought for some reason that the half-blood prince would be Tom Riddle, but then I realized JKR wouldn't pull that again so I was completely clueless when I got the book. And I'm happy with Fleur sticking by Bill. w00t for Phlegm Fleur!
But any other Phoneix member would have died from the Vow rather than kill Dumbledore. :( Plus I'm pretty sure Snape would be able to throw off an Imperius curse.
OMG, I was crying during the Dumbledore funeral. hmmph. I could not believe the beginning of the book where it was talking about Snape being the spy and all & I knew all throughout the book that he was still on the Death Eaters side just as Harry did. And to think, if Harry & dumbledore could've like alternated turns drinking the potion & whatnot, Dumbledore still might of been a little stable. I cannot believe however that Harry will not continue to attend Hogwarts. Dumbledore will always remain there(the pic in the Office) and can offer harry help whenever he needs it. I hope Harry goes back to school & continues with the D.A. and they merge with the Order or something and altogether go out & fight Voldemort.
I loved how Harry still liked Ginny & they will be together more I think :)
It really bugged me throughout the whole book though how Harry knew about Snape and Dumbledore was blinded by it, in a sense.

I was like "aw that's sweet" when he was stroking her hair &&& I totally hated that Cormac Mcwhatever character & would've rather seen her go out with like maybe Neville or Seamus or something.
I was dumb and before I even started reading the book I was flipping throught the back looking for the "about the author" when i totally read a sentence that said somenthing about the tower where Dumbledore was killed, and I almost peed on myself, i was so mad that I saw that sentence. But, the holy crap the book was sooo gooddddd. I thought that dumbledore should have unfrozen harry so that he could attack malfoy, but that didint happen. And Also its good that Dumbledore is in the portrait thingy you know along with all the other head masters because then maybe harry will be able to talk to him from there. And I want to know whos going to be head of Gryffindor now, i thought maybe Hagrid but Idk. And I want to know whose initials those are in the letter that they found with the necklace. And I hope that the next book isnt the last book (even thought iknow it will probably be) and I want to know when the next book is comming out.
Dudeee, that really sucks. I had to totally stay away from the computer until I read it because I was afraid that everyone would be talking about the book and what happened and all. I totally forgot about the portraits his office though!
And I was sad about the lack of Sirius, like how the veil never was explained and everything, but that will definitely be in the next book. I just wish we didn't have to wait so long because it will probably be around 2 years until it comes out. =/

yea i was like really sad when sirius died in the fifth book, i liked him. and i bothered me too how the veil thing wasnt explained. Man im going to be so sad when shes done writting the books.
I'm curious about the initials too & I didn't even think about Gryffindor having to get a new head of House until you said something. But I must admit, I too saw a sentence in the back of the book before I read it. I was looking to see how many pages it was & just happened to catch a bad sentence.

I thought that dumbledore should have unfrozen harry so that he could attack malfoy, but that didint happen.
