Good to see you too, Boomfla! Actually, Sophomores are usually not chosen for the Campus Church internship position, they prefer Juniors, so I'm super glad to be an alternate too =)

Hey there! savecl_by_grace December 13 2003, 05:57:27 UTC
Hey Ruth! Nice to know you're still surviving over there. I didn't go much of anywhere except for school, since my car was here at home during the entire semester. However, I did get a chance to eat at a Greek restaurant, and it was really good =) (bringing in the receipt scored me a free quiz grade in Greek class!)

Sometimes one needs a romantic relationship to get over self immaturities, hell, to even find out what they are. In my case- the current brings out all the great! not to mention nasty! feelings. Ones I had not previously realized existed-- through meditation and compassionate listening and generally growing I can overcome them. It is a nice way of being forced into change, rather it may be something "put off in the near future".

I like your posts.
Make more of them :)

Nice to see you're still in the mix. I can understand what you mean...my last relationship definitely pointed out a lot of my shortcomings and weaknesses. I've had a somewhat similar battle cry to yours in tackling them. Mine is Philippians 4:13- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I'll be sure to put up more posts, I'm glad you like them ;) I have a feeling you'll like the ones I have planned for the near future...

I'm re-reading "Mere Christianity" right now. Such a simple, powerful discussion of the sub-fundementals of the faith. Definately would have raised my eyebrow had I read it as an unbeliever.

I think his thoughts on morals is some of the best pre-evangelism I have ever read.

C.S. Lewis knows his stuff, that's for sure. Nice to see you're still around, Jason :)
