Oct 03, 2009 17:06

I'm opening the Episode Discussion thread here for anyone who wants to share thoughts on the latest episode of Numb3rs: Friendly Fire.

My reactions and thoughts are behind the cut. Comment on them or just leave your thoughts and questions for others to read and discuss. Please limit Episode Discussions for 6.02 to this post to avoid spoilers, confusion, etc.

And on that note, just in case you didn't catch it, there WILL be SPOILERS for Episode 6.02 Friendly Fire behind the cut AND in the comments. DO NOT go past this point if you don't want to know! You were warned.

~ Since this is a Colby community we must start out by saying, OMG. Could Colby & David be any more awesome? The "we're married... to the job" and the fist bump that followed was too adorable.

~ I KNEW that David was going to be Colby's date at the end. I knew as soon as I saw the scene with David picking that lock (Um, yummy by the way. He must be taking lessons from our resident lock picker... aka Colby. Loved Colby's "You're getting WAY too good at that" comment.)

~ The scene at the restaurant was just too much. With Colby pulling out David's chair, and David ordering drinks for both of them and Colby commenting to David "Such a gentleman." I can't even hack it. *laughed so hard* Poor Nikki. She should have seen that one coming. I bet she wished Liz was there so she could have been her date. LOL. Or better yet, as suggested by callsign624 Ian showing up would have really shut Colby and David up. Let's also add the fact that Edgerton would NEVER let Colby or David live it down that they had to be each other's date to show up his girl Nikki. *is completely amused by this scenario*

~ Regarding the restaurant scene, anyone else notice??? Colby was in a suit! \o/ And David went casual. Oh, boys. *luffs on them*

~ I also have to just say this about Colby: Does any one else find it completely endearing (and sexy) that he watches the Discovery Channel? It was mentioned in Season 4 and then again in this episode. *hugs him*

~ Moving on, poor Donnie. :( I am not entirely sure what they are doing to his character this season. I'm guessing that they have to knock him down as far as he can go before they build him back up? I don't know but the last episode and this one damn near broke me where Don is concerned. In particular, the last scene where he was hanging up the pictures of the fallen FBI agents... *pets his longer hair*

~ What's going on with Larry? I mean, I know he's leaving... but really? He's leaving to do ... what? I have a personal theory that he's going to go find Megan and they are going to get married and spend the rest of their lives orbiting the planet together, maybe even make a baby or two. Come on. Season 1 Larry wanted wormholes (aka children.) Sounds like a good idea to me. :)

~ The first time I watched the episode, I wasn't really into the broken pieces of the story and how the episode was put together. After watching it a second time, I actually enjoyed the way it jumped right in and then jumped around. The episode didn't flow/mesh perfectly, but I don't think it was supposed to. It was different. I enjoyed it.

~ I ♥ Nikki. I loved that she said "I had anger issues back then!" as Jordan what's-his-name walked out on her at the restaurant. "You threatened to mace me." HAHAHA. Oh, Nikki. Bless your heart. She looked lovely as ever as well.

I'm sure there is more to say but I'll let ya'll chime in instead. Thoughts, comments, questions? (For more quotes and comments, I recommend checking out this thread from spikedluv.) :)
