[The video shows Ruby sitting in her room in front of a roaring fireplace. She's wrapped up in the thickest, fuzziest blanket she can find. The wood is piled up in a stack next to the fire place. There's a bottle of lighter fluid next to her along side a cup of hot chocolate]Seriously? Not fucking funny. Those of us that have a hard time regulating ( Read more... )

I could answer that so many different ways.

Not exactly. Freezing won't kill me and therefore my body doesn't see the point in wasting the energy to keep it toasty. In general, I'm room temperature but I like to be a lot warmer than the average room.

Is there any reason why you want to be warmer? If it's not necessary it seems a waste of energy.

Because being cold feels like being dead. And I can't make myself warmer if I wanted. That's why I'm sitting next to a fire wrapped up.

Duh.

My room's still pretty warm, if you wanted to crash here. I've got a sweater on and I'm fine, but I can start a fire here if you needed me to. Or go over there with extra blankets. Your call.

Mmm I'll come there. I wouldn't say not to a fire.

[She gets up, blanket wrapped around her. Warm room? No way she's turning that down]

Thanks, Sam.

No problem. No point in freezing, after all.

[He'll be making sure his door's slightly ajar just before going about making a fire. He thought the room was comfortable enough, but he figures she probably has more of a problem staying warm than he does.]

[She's used to being mildly chilly. Hell is warm and bodies like being 98.6 degrees so down right cold? Makes for a grumpy Ruby. She shuffles through the hallways like a half wrapped mummy, nudging Sam's door open with one foot when she gets there.]

Knock, knock. Popsicle delivery.

[It's an exaggeration and it's meant to be one. She doesn't nudge the door all the way shut in case he's got issues about being trapped in here with her. He can shut the door all the way if he wants.]
