Tonight was interesting to say the least. The speaker, I think it's Ssempa, was really good. It was the end that bothered me. I just felt kinda akward. All those people going up to the front of the room and all the praying and some shouting. I just didn't feel any real draw to it. But it wasn't like I was repulsed by it either. I just felt akward,

Ah, but it's not just emotion. Not by any long shot. How does one have an encounter with the Spirit of the living God and not feel some emotion about it? And yet, the power is not in the emotion but in the Spirit Himself.

If you want a logical, rational, emotionless God, you are barking up the wrong tree. Try laying down your self-preservation and check out the scriptures to see who God really is...

Wow...I wish I'd have been there last night....I guess we'll get to hear this speaker Sunday night as well! I agree with you Lisa...even though I wasn't there, I felt like I was because I've heard so much about it...emotion has to be a part of our encounters with the Spirit of the living God!
