"i cant even muster enough feeling to actually give a shit. i was expecting this..."
Such similar realities can be so heartwrenching at times.
I'm not even upset that I can easily relate to you're state of mind right now because, like you, I half expected this outcome.
It's still disappointing.
.almost as disappointing as never hearing heart-happy stories about you from my brother anymore.
It's a disappointment that befuddles me not only because of the origin, but simply because I am aware of the fact that I don't revere it well in the hierarchy of irrefutable, actual events. It's as though today did not even really happen.
today is just like any other day. nothing has changed. were all just sheep playing king for a day. as if our voice was meant to be heard. blah blah but ill ask you, how is nick? its been a dogs age since ive heard a word from him.
i think thats what a lot of people did. just vote for the lesser of two evils. thats exactly what theyll always be. just plain ol' evil. i KNOW my mom and a few good others voted for kerry for that reason if not something equally as embarrassing and pathetic.
yeah a bunch of anarchists turned out to vote this year. at least the ones from houston did. but today, the day after things would have been the same either way. we'd still have to go out and live our lives the way we've been living no matter who is president. i'm glad my .00000000000497% of the vote got counted. jesus. what a waste.
whats more annoying is looking at maps of my city and how the republican majority in the texas legislature cut up our hood and broke it out so that i'm in the same voting district as the rich fucks in george bush sr.'s neighborhood. it makes no fucking sense. they already have the state by the balls but they just had to go and fucking redraw district lines to make their majority locked in for years to come.
in a way i kind of admire them for knowing what they want and not being afraid to take it. sometimes i wish the rest of us would take what's ours. but... then again they have way more money and power and support than i ever will. fuckers.
theres a new party being born. the people who hate people party. "people who hate people come together!" -"no!" were kinda having trouble getting off the boards but you know. -"are you gonna be there?" "yeah" -"then i aint fucking comin'." "but youre our strongest member." -"fuck you!" "thats what im talking about you asshole." -"fuck off!" "damn we almost had a meeting going." its so hard to get my people together.

He's happy about not living at home anymore...
but I hardly ever hear from him.
He needs something with curves and forgiving lips.

I do care and I did vote, but only for the lesser of two evils.
And my mom totally voted for Kerry because she thinks Edwards is cute.
I know it.
