a Testimonial, not a bid muppetk June 21 2011, 03:20:04 UTC
If you've ever wanted to be able to make shiny objects, you really really want to bid on this. Kyth is a fabulous teacher - not only does she make things make *sense* but the lesson is also usually a lot of fun. If you're in the area, you should bid on this with a friend and go have a few play dates together at her studio. It's awesome! There's jewelry and fiber crafts EVERYWHERE!

Kyth's taught me a variety of jewelry techniques - from wirework to glass fusing to knotting pearls to hammering copper, and each time it's like a new small universe is opened up to me. (She's also taught me to spin fiber into yarn on a drop spindle and that's pretty neat too. Actually, the fact that I've found all her classes cool probably says something about her capabilities as a teacher.)

Which is to say, I've already bought my shiny lessons & they're awesome. And if I were actually a professional artist/jeweler, I'd be very happy to have Kyth as a coach/mentor.
