i have a very urgent request to any of you who might be in possession of the following item:

national curriculum of england and wales for modern foreign languages (mfl), ks 2, 3 and 4, as up-to-date as possible.

thank you so much for replying, i was pretty much screwed when i heard that i am in charge with nce while i have never taught in a school before; and this is a private international school where everybody is rather confused about what's happening and why is it as it is. meh.

Unfortunately I stopped teaching French in 2004, so that's the most recent version I have. I think your other respondee is correct to say that it doesn't get overhauled radically all that often. MFL has been downgraded in UK schools since 2003 when it stopped being compulsory to study a language up to the age of 16.

the last updated version from their official site dates from 2004 as well. the school i joined this summer seems to be putting a huuuge interest in teaching mfl starting from ks2, so they might be slightly different from what's happening in the original countries.
