Dusty Griffin, my ultimate middle school crush, was killed this morning in a car accident. It's a little surreal. Death is so hard for me to fathom, and it scares me more than anything.

Other than hearing that news, today has been a very enjoyable day. I came home for lunch and found this note taped to my bitchy neighbor's mailbox:

Never mind-- I had heard about Jon Burton and did not realize that the person in the car with him was Dusty. :(
