[Anyone in Violet City (specifically, the Pokemon Center) will see a certain Snow Villiers staggering forcefully through almost chest-deep water. Unfortunately, the flood had wound up being too much for Rocky, and he'd retreated to his PokeBall... Thankfully, they hadn't been on a rescue mission at the time

[One daring rescue was enough for Heather-- she didn't quite have the oomph in her to rebuild the flimsy .... thing (it couldn't really be called a boat) that she'd spent a day floating around in) and on top of that she was pretty sure her nose had become a were-faucet (it was the only explanation. Being sick? NONSENSE). So needless to say, she was sitting in the Pokemon Center, among many others, when Snow dragged himself up out of the flood and into civilization.]

[Looking concerned, she stood up, a blanket draped over her shoulders like a cape. ... A pink, fluffy, appropriately-medical-looking-given-the-location cape.]

Jeez, Snow, did you try to swim all the way here or something? ... Where's Rocky?

[... He looked like he could use a few more minutes lying down so she didn't try to help him up just yet.]

[He recognizes Heather's voice by now, so he doesn't even have to look up. While at the same time trying to keep catching his breath:] Don't worry, he's right here. [One of his hands drops from his forehead to his pocket, and he pulls out a PokeBall, holds it up in the air a second for her to see, then sets his hand back down on the floor, not even bothering to pocket it again.

[Considering the last time they'd talked, he'd mentioned Rocky not handling the water well, she'd feared the worst for a second.]

You need a towel or anything?

[The worst around here is just fainting and being carted back to the Center, anyway.

At her question, he shakes his head.] Nah, I'll just... [Drip here on the floor.] I'll be fine.

[Firion has Wild Rose stay outside in the water as he jumps into the water and into the Pokemon Center. He saw Snow go in. The man was clearly exhausted. As the doors slide shut, he kneels down as Snow's side and reaching to gently pull at Snow's hand to feel his forehead. Hey, better safe than sorry.]

You aren't sick, which is a relief. How long were you out there, my friend?

[He's too tired to make comments about randomly being touched by other men, complying with Firion's tugging and resting his hands across his stomach instead.

At the question, he shakes his head a little.] I'm fine. Just need... to sit here a minute. [He's talking around trying to catch his breath, hence the breath-sized pause in the middle.]

[Even if he had made such a comment, Firion would have ignored it. He removes his hand and sits back.]

[His brow furrows, and he looks up at Firion in confusion.] Need rest... What did I say? [He could've sworn he'd said that? He's a little out of it right now, sorry.]

[He lifts his face off his hands to glance in confusion at the thingy on his chest. He's never too tired to be nice to something cute.] Hey there, little dude. Where'd you come from?

[he looks around, but there's a lot of people. None of them look like his trainer.]

You lost? [He'll be putting a hand on the floor and pushing himself up into a half-sitting position.] Who's your trainer?

[Hungary had been watching the rain out the window with her forlorn looking Houndour when she saw this. Worried? You bet. She watches in horror as he collapses.]

Hey, relax. I'm great. I just... I've gotta rest a little.

[Within seconds Lightning is by Snow. She doesn't bother kneeling, instead opting to look down at his face from where she stands. She'll let him have a moment or two on catching his breath before she speaks.]

You're late.

I-... What? [Oh, right. Late. He'd said he wouldn't be too long.] Oh, yeah... You can kick me if you want.

You're soaking wet and exhausted. There's no point.

[This is basically punishment in itself, isn't it? Besides, he can't help what the weather does.]
