[Without another second's pause, he turns and retracts the glaring dragon-snake-rage-entity into its PokeBall. He'll deal with its butthurt later.

For now, he's pulling out another PokeBall, stepping toward Franziska. He hesitates just a second, then offers it to her.]

[She notices his slight hesitation and eyes the PokeBall curiously. It's odd, Snow not being his overly casual self.]

It's not another Magikarp, is it? If it's any Pokemon you already have, I don't want it.

[A grin.] It's not. Here--[He reaches out to push the button, letting out the Ponyta. You'll notice immediately that the Ponyta is quite srs bsns (isn't that how she likes it, though?), like he's seen and knows how to handle a battle or twelve.]

[Only reason his post sounded very happy is 'cause it came about an hour after the Ponyta had first arrived with the Magikarp in its pack. He'd kinda come to terms with it, and you know snow: acting A-OK around problems he can't fix.]
