As I was watching the New years' Eve coverage on TV, I was struck with a dilemma:

Ryan Seacrest or Carson Daly--which no-personality, closeted gay host do I choose?

When you have a picture dictionary. Under the words Tool and Metrosexual. Tool would have a picture of Carson Daly while Metrosexual would have a picture of Ryan Seacrest. I hate Carson Daly for his stint on TRL. To me he represented when MTV went from being a music channel to a fucking lifestyle channel that when it played music just played gangsta crap.

You really understand that Daly almost became a Catholic priest at one point.

TRL DESTROYED anything resembling good taste and judgement in music.

That explains a lot. Yeah TRL was the end of MTVC. But you know look what has happened. Now if you want credibility and a long term career. You have not be a MTV act. Bright Eyes, Sufjan Stevens and Antony and The Johnsons prove you do not need MTV or radio play to have a fanbase as well not have to put an album on a major label.

Carson Daly. Tara Reid was his beard, I mean, Fiancee for about two years. They got dogs named Stoli and .....well, I am hung over...but the point is. Carson.
