I am so ready to just ditch work and go get a frozen yogurt waffle cone.  It's 5:48 pm.  I am supposed to work until 8 pm but I have been here since 10 am.  My boss is gone and is getting ready to go to Africa for two weeks to help build a school there and set up a new program that will help kids.  It's awesome that she's doing such noble work

My boss is great. I'm lucky to have her. She's just not always around when I need supervision.

I wound up not ditching work but I did go get a frozen yogurt waffle cone when I left.

Same with my boss about supervision and because I am senior clinician my supervision gets compromised alot so I have figured out to get what i need from our nurse/CASAC/LCSW co-worker who she herself is in the field 30 yrs ans I do a mock supervision with her...gotta get what i need to further my skills.
