and it's the stars that lie to you

I'm so confused. I'm really really bad at knowing what I want. I change my mind, a lot. And not on little things, but on big ones, important ones. Not only do I change my mind, but I change it usually after it's too late, once I had my chance and let it pass me by already. That's when I decide I'm not so sure ( Read more... )

Pray about it Kel....What are your motives for being a nurse? What are you motives for being a writer? Will being a writer benefit your life more than being a nurse?? Deep down in your heart what do u want to do? I love you and will support you in either decision : )

i've been in the same boat as you... do i pick the *practical* job, or do i pick the dream job? college is a scary time because you are making expensive decisions and affect your life! but let me tell you that you should follow your heart. sometimes we get so obssessed with praying about what major we should pick or what job we should take that we pass over the fact that god gives us gifts, talents, and abilities that we can and should use to glorify him. god isn't concerned with prestige and salaries -- he is concerned with what gifts you can use to show people what he is like. sometimes there is more than one right decision (scary as that sounds!) and it's just a matter of which one appeals to you more. god has given you many, many gifts and talents, use them to the best of your ability whether it be through nursing or writing. i know you will be a blessing either avenue you choose. you are young and don't have as many responsibilties as it sometimes feels like... do what makes you happy. i love you!!

be a nurse, yet continue to write. yes, the first couple of years of nursing are gonna be really hard, but once you get into the swing of things, you can pick your schedule of working hours and then work as little or as much as you would like and then do as much or as little of writing as you would like. this is just m opinion though, not yours or God's, just mine!! and im just saying this probably b/c i think everyone should be a nurse. : )
continue to pray, knowing that God will answer you. you dont like the unknown, that sucks, b/c the God we serve has planned out that unknown on purpose for us to not know. we should be thankful for another oppurtunity to cling to Him and trust Him. and i know this is easier said than done, but i know you can def. do it.
