"You're in the dorms." Erik had been keeping watch over Raven, only occasionally leaving to talk to some other arrivals, check on the other mutants...and take a break from Charles. The truce was there, but their friendship was still shaky and torn. A few days wouldn't change things that quickly, prisoners or no.

Shooting a look over at Charles for a moment, he gave her a tight smile but didn't touch her, his words coming out clear and crisp. "You need to learn to dodge better."

A cryptic answer, perhaps, but it gave her enough information without terrifying her, he hoped. This wasn't he Raven who had left with him; the future shocks would most likely be worse than the current injury.

Shock or no, there isn't anything Charles can do about his wheelchair; Raven would notice it before long. For the moment, however, Charles simply leans in, avoiding the option of wheeling closer until Raven regains her equilibrium.

"You took a nasty blow to the head," Charles explains, eyes trained on her face. "How are you feeling?"

A hand came up to the side of her face at both of their words. Raven looked from Erik then to Charles. She gave him a soft smile. "And we're not home then." She replied before sitting up. This was just... surreal.

It hadn't crossed her mind that Charles was in a wheelchair, yet. Her brain took it only as him sitting. Rubbing her eyes slightly, she turned back to Erik, though either could answer her question. "Why're we here?"

"Experimentation. To participate in a little 'game' as they call it." Erik's words came out clipped and succinct; Charles and Raven knew him well enough to know exactly what his tone implied.

"They chose the wrong test subjects."
