Sure, Lawrence heard the call to battle and action. There were certainly others who were more experience than he was so hey- sit back and watch for now, but still help out. That sounded like a good idea, didn't it? He'd already witnessed deaths in this land of make-believe, he didn't want his to be next right away. Not that it seemed to matter, this psychotic, lost island seemed to be built on the foundation of eternal damnation, reviving those who have lost their lives.
And so, Lawrence wandered around the support base. Bouncer in name, healer in spirit, he kept his thin, long sword slung over his back. Had to keep himself safe, had to keep his sword safe. Monsters were all around, of course.
Even those who didn't look like one. Like him. ]
[ In a low mumble ] Sure hope you're enjoying yourself, this just seems like your type of place, doesn't it? [ He speaks to no one in particular, so one may think. Or maybe someone heard him. who knows. He is just doing his normal dealio, smilin' ( ... )

But he knows first aid, and he wants to leave as soon as he can, so he's helping out by sorting things, keeping an eye on the feeds on his phone, and just generally hanging around waiting for something useful to do. He cocks his head to the side hearing this stranger seemingly talking to himself, and speaks up in a soft, blank voice.]
Who would enjoy this place...?

Haha! Did you happen to hear that? Oh it's- it's really nothing, just a small issue I have. Nothing mental, of course. Only magical!
[ And he smiles- ]
Hey there! I haven't seen you around here before.

[He's just going to cross his legs and lean on his knee, sitting in a plastic folding chair he dragged from somewhere or another. He doesn't smile back -- his face is as empty as his voice.]
I've been here for awhile. I don't get out much, though.

[ He laughs : ] I wouldn't want to make an enemy out of someone I just met! Seriously, though, you don't get out much? That seems a little plain and boring, reminds me of someone I know, actually...

As he should. It's an older brother's job to protect his siblings. That's why we're born first!
[ He snaps his fingers together to ignite a bit of light magic. But he does nothing with it other than to swirl it around as his index finger moves about. ]
It's pretty common, nay- a way of life in St. Helena.

Ah! The type of being who prefers the thrill and excitement of survival of the fittest, of course! Of surviving through simple carnal desires, not caring of the morality put in place by humans and their consciousness, of course!

Here and there. [ He waves his hand about. ] Unfortunately, I'm still getting over this culture shock of different worlds existing. Different people, different modes of good and bad- to not be back home is... well, this certainly does feel like a hell in so many ways.
