[Eliot knew most of the places on the island by now, especially the areas around the greenhouse, and that house was not there the day before. Which meant it required investigating. So in he went, wary and ready for an attack from any direction.

The slamming shut of the door drew a quick glance from him and prompted him to trying the knob. Locked, obviously. Grabbing his knife and flipping it over into a more comfortable hold, he moved in deeper into the first floor.]
