Intense doesn't begin to cover my relationship with my mom. I'm glad your mom tries to be reasonable- My mom just forgets about that part. She gets really worked up, and the lecture's going before we've found a solution to the problem. She can be mad for ages, too. The way my mom reacts to situations often aggravates the problem more than helps create a solution, and when I realized that... Well, I can't say that makes dealing with it easier ( ... )

Savi at least your family still actually hold together, yes your mom looses herself in the moment, but at least she's somewhat more grounded than my mother. My half sister Michelle is slowly learning that she's going to be our mother's caregiver at the age of 16.

Just be happy you can have serious conversations and the like, parents can be frustrating, but you know deep down your mother loves you and these little moments are just moments that slip away as time passes by. Some day you'll be at the reverse end being a mother with children to chase around, you'll look back at how you've grown and learn the teachings of your parents, to which I know you'll be a very tough momma to mess with. ;p
