I hope it's ok that I friended you--but I like your involvement in NCIS. Time is on my side--not too late. :P

That's ok, I don't mind people friending me. It's just right now I'm tightening things up a bit. I had some crap with a psycho stalker that can't handle rejection, recently and want to make sure he doesn't try to rejoing lj and friend me again. I'm tired of his drama and his constant getting mad and me, deleting his journal then coming back with another one. That happened twice and this last time he went psycho stalker on me. *rolls eyes* I don't have time for that crap nor do I have tollerance for it ( ... )

I think you need a little more break inbetween paragraphs, it was sometimes hard to follow. But other than that, a intresting twist, I personally like other takes than just what is written in the show... (like my House thing, but I don't know if you are old enough to read those LOL )

I've noticed you asking for feedback on various comms. I know writing is not an easy process, especially when it's hard to find resources to help you improve.

Some of the ones I commonly use are:

Ask Oxford: http://www.askoxford.com/betterwriting/?view=uk I find this site is excellent for ease of use and accuracy.

List of Common English Errors: http://www.wsu.edu:8080/~brians/errors/errors.html There are some good hints in here, including commonly confused words and terms.

Punctuation Made Simple: http://lilt.ilstu.edu/golson/punctuation/ I run into punctuation problems all the time. This site is quite simple and easy to use, and is less confusing than most grammar/punctuation sites ( ... )

Okay, first, to quote the immortal words from the guide to Life, The Universe and Everything (okay, so it wasn't... but there's nothing wrong with striving): Don't Panic.

Writing is a learning process just as much as everything else, and it sounds like you're at the beginning of that process. One of the important things to remember is that even if you read something that says it's someone's first fanfic, it doesn't mean they haven't been writing for years. I only posted my first fanfic a few years back, but I've been writing stories since I learned how to read.

Criticism isn't always a bad thing, either. Sometimes it can help us realise what we're missing, just because we don't see it, but someone else can. The first story I ever read for a writers' circle, I had ten pages written from the Point Of View of the main character, and finally someone pointed out to me that they had no idea who that person was, or even if it was a woman or a man. Everybody makes mistakes, and it sometimes helps when people catch them, so we can ( ... )

What do you mean by worst years of school? Is it that obvious of my age...lol. You are right about me being a "Probie." I'm just a baby compared to the rest of you guys. Not to brag--but I am--how would I word this?--wise beyond my years in writing. Not many years...maybe instead of writing like the freshman I am...but like a senior--but not in fanfics...it's a whole new ballgame so to speak. But you gave some sense of a confidence booster, but I stand by what I said. I probaly won't focus on fanfics as much as I once did. Thank you for the resources. :P
