Bah, the ending of IC #1 was predictable if you've been reading DC comics in the last year. There have been hints that Crisis never ended and I was expecting a "huge" finale/cliffhanger and thus guessed this improbable outcome.
House of M #7 also came out that week and had debateably just as big of an event.
I really haven't been feeling the HoM vibe; it just isn't sustaining my interest as well at the moment. And yes, the ending may have been predictable/whatever, but it was still awesome, and didn't detract from my enjoyment of the book overall.
I also read 'Green Lantern Corps: Recharge' 1, and enjoyed that; the GLC seem to do that weird-alien thing well without being too cliche. Also good to see the different way the symbol is interpreted by all those people.
Well, I've read odd issues of those minis, enough to keep up with what was going on, and I was happy enough to start it and was happy- the book is very solid. Although if you don't like body count, you might not be happy at this one ^^;

They killed Max Lord, Blue Beetle, Hawk Woman, and ROCKET RED! (And that's just a few!)
I haven't read Issue 1 (of 7) of Infinite Crisis yet as I'm reading the 6's of the minis leading up to it.
